Okay, since I used up half of our MB to listen to this I better comment XD
Okay, you said you used electronic devices, I don't know much about musical instruments, but I am positive that the harp and oboe are not electronic, so you must have used programs on the computer like Adobe Audition, right?
Well if you did, I congratulate you, as this is really, REALLY good for a first time. With a bit more practice, you will beat me at making music with computer programs, and I might just have to hire you to make music for my games, I've made so far, but yeah, it’s pretty good, though when you started to slow it down at the end you might have done that a little too sudden, but that’s just my thought.
If you didn’t make this on a computer programme I take every thing back =P (jk)
Everything - and I mean everything - was done on my computer. The harp and oboe sounds were generated on Sibelius - a music program I got last week. I thought the Harp sounded very realistic (having never heard a solo harp live before), but the oboe sounded pretty awful at times.
I also used Audacity to change a few things here and there, and made it into a video file on Windows Movie Maker.
As to the slowing down at the end - I could easily have made it more gradual, but I preferred to do it the way I did. It was a matter of my own musical interpretation.
I didn't know you wrote music though! May I hear some of your works?
BTW, thanks for the encouraging comments! I'd do another one if I had the time/motivation/inspiration/creativity.
Ah, well that was supper good for a first time making music on the computer.
Lol, yeah, I have a computer game I've made called E-Phant, and I needed some music for it, so I created a piece that went for 4 minutes, I've just searched my computer for it, and I no longer have it, I lost it when my computer got wiped by a virus.
I think I'm going to die; it took me at least 5 hours sitting on my bed placing all the notes in the right places.
Ah, I spent hours on that bit of music, it had guitars, drums, flutes, violins, 3 types of pianos, 2 types of organs, viola, cello, and a lot of other instruments, one part even sounded a bit like a Mario theme.
Sorry, but that's the only real music I had, the rest I don't really like, and only go for a min. *sigh* now I have to go make some more music for my game, and add it to the game before something else happens to it :S
AHH!! I hate my computer so much! You should really teach me how to make music properly. I spent 7 hours trying to get it right, and now I've lost it all!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to die... whoops, I think I already have.
*sigh* one day I'll find something I can actually do better than you... I hope.
